On the ditch

Robert Splaine has chosen his team for this week’s Samsung Super League round in Rome. The five members of the team(four of whom will compete) are Jessica Kuerten (Quibell), Marie Burke (Chippison), Edward Doyle (Sequoyah Farms Utopia), Denis Lynch (Lantinus) and Cian O’Connor (Irish Independent Echo Beach).

After the first round in France Ireland lie in joint second place. A good start to their return to the Super League:

Ireland also had two teams competing in the second-division nation’s cup series; Ireland finished 3rd in Copenhagan, but failed to make it past the first round in Madrid.
