FEI World Cup
Jessica Kuerten was “strongly fancied” to take the title in this year’s FEI World Cup, held in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Unfortunately she and mount Castle Forbes Libertina could only manage to take fourth place after hitting three fences for a total of 12 faults.
The winner Germany’s Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum and Shutterfly finished with two clear rounds. Runner-up, American Rich Fellers, did in some ways, fly the flag for Ireland, aboard the Irish-bred stallion Flexible, an Irish Draught Sport Horse by Cruising.
