Eventing deaths
Following the death of Karen Rodgers at the Ballindenisk One-Day event competition an investigation has been launched into the cause of her fatal accident.
In 2007 there were 9 deaths from eventing related accidents. Some are saying that it is due to changes in the courses. Changes made because China couldn’t host the Roads and Tracks section of the competition. Whatever the cause it won’t stop everyone from competing.
