Hope for Cork?
Last week it looked like the situation in Cork was getting worse. There was little, if any movement from either side. The people of Cork were out on the streets supporting their players.
But now it appears that there may be a glimmer of hope as GAA Director General Paraic Duffy and Labour Relations Commission Chief Kieran Mulvey travel to Cork to mediate in the dispute. Whether they can do any good is another matter altogether. After all, neither side seems all that interested in compromise, both have “behaved extremely provocatively.”
