Trapattoni favourite for Irish job
After weeks of rumours and changing odds over who will be the next ROI manager it now appears that an announcement may be imminent. Don Givens, Ray Houghton and Don Howe have been having meetings and talks with various possibilities and it now appears that Giovanni Trapattoni is favourite to be appointed. This despite the fact that he has insisted he is not in talks with the FAI.
