Talks between Cork players and management have ended without success tonight, leaving in doubt Cork’s participation in this year’s league. And the possibility remains that they will not participate in the Championship.
Talks between player representatives and the Cork County Board and chaired by Labour Relations Commission’s chief executive Kieran Mulvey broke up without reaching any agreement.
Next weekend is the deadline as Cork are due to play their first League match of the year. If the dispute is not resolved then Cork will be relegated as the players insist they will not line-out under manager Teddy Holland.
